HBCU Send Off - June 29th

The Greater Cleveland Branch participated in the HBCU Send Off on Sunday, June 29th from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Warrensville Hts. High School. Our branch support of this annual event is part of our commitment to the National HBCU initiative.

National Urban League Conference

The National Urban League Conference was held in Cleveland July 16-19 at the Huntington Convention Center. The Greater Cleveland Branch had a table at the Community Day on Saturday July 19th from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. This event had many networking opportunities. Along with interaction with numerous individuals locally and from across the United States.

Chartering of New Branch in Michigan

Our Sectional Director will be traveling to Detroit, MI to charter a new Branch, the Greater Detroit Branch on Saturday, August 2nd. The chartering will be followed by a community project done with the new branch members and other NAUW sisters. We will be distributing books to K-8 children in the community. National officers will be present for this special chartering. Please mark your calendars and travel 2 hours north if you are able to come for this event.

Laura's Home

Laura's Home is having their annual Back to School Bash on Friday, August 8th from 5-7 p.m. Donations will be collected prior to that date. Details for donation pickup will be sent by mid July. Please refer to the flyer previously sent for the items that are needed. Volunteers will be needed to assist in backing bags for this event.
